The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Systems Engineer, Sr. for a role in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Systems Engineer, Sr. is responsible for technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives. The CYBERTRON program delivers highly skilled engineering services to the U.S. Army C5ISR Center in their mission of cybersecurity research and development and cryptographic modernization. Assists in providing technical input to the systems engineering process. Leads teams in developing application and technical plans. Guide customers in the installation and use of strategic products through education and guidance, first-use and tuning assistance problem solving and critical situation resolution.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security+ or higher).
  • Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Must be able to communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members.
