SAIC is seeking to fill an opening for a Space Enterprise System Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to an IC customer. The customer organization we support provides the system enterprise architecting, analysis, and system of systems engineering solutions that determine the current and future national space systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to\: Coordinating and supporting enterprise requirements, CONOPS, and architectures in various domains; supporting enterprise and system level requirements development for future systems; overseeing the allocation and closure of acquisition-level requirements with developers; participation in readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level ground milestones; leading and supporting project planning; assessing schedule and risk; generating and presenting engineering briefings; and interfacing with numerous customers Working across multiple Directorates and Offices to identify and define future space capability needs Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, and external stakeholders Identifying and defining future space capability needs Identifying key architecture and system level trades Developing strategies in support of IC and Department of Defense (DoD) architectures Assessing the performance of current and future architecture concepts Providing technical and programmatic guidance to the architecture and system level requirements process Developing system architecture models to capture the holistic perspective within the context of a larger enterprise Preparing briefings for senior decision makers
