About The Position

Apogee has exciting opportunities for Systems Engineers (Subject Matter Expert) to support the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Warner Robins AFB, GA. These positions support GPS User Equipment modernization programs, including MAGR-2K, EGI, R-EGI, and weapons integration with M-Code capability. These are full-time positions located at Warner Robins Air Force Base (AFB).

Requirements

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
Years of Experience: 15 years of systems engineering experience in DoD, with at least 5 years in DoD
In-depth knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems, navigation, and PNT
Knowledge of systems engineering processes per IEEE 15288/EIA 632
Experience with requirements management and MBSE tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Engineering or related technical field
Years of Experience: 12 years of systems engineering experience in DoD, with at least 5 years in DoD
Experience with weapons systems and precision-guided munitions preferred

Responsibilities

Translate user requirements into system requirements for GPS User Equipment systems
Perform technical/mission analyses of operational requirements and develop system concepts
Conduct technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs
Draft project documentation including SOOs, SOWs, program plans, schedules, and presentations
Review and analyze technical proposals for cost, design feasibility, and system compatibility
Provide rapid response engineering service for critical supportability problems
Draft regulatory and statutory documentation including Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs)
Review contractor documents and data, provide technical comments
Support and conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, and life-cycle cost analyses
Evaluate Integrated Master Plans (IMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and cost estimates
Participate in systems, subsystems, and component testing
Provide systems/subsystems integration support for acquisition and development
Support weapons integration with M-Code capability
Conduct trade studies for MGUE Source of Supply and Open Architecture
Support platform integration and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
Evaluate contractor test plans and results for system verification
Support Manufacturing Readiness Assessments and production planning
Develop and maintain requirements traceability
Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) best practices
