About The Position

You will be the Systems Engineer Senior - Level 3 for the Advanced Development Program (ADP). As the Systems Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for delivering end‑to‑end systems engineering support across the ADP product line, from new concepts to existing aircraft. You will operate in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment that embraces Agile methodology and design to solve cutting‑edge technical challenges. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving requirements tracking, decomposition, and flow‑down across multiple programs. - Conducting risk management and technical trade studies to form design decisions. - Developing and maintaining verification and validation plans, ensuring airworthiness compliance. - Collaborating with suppliers, functional experts, and senior engineers to integrate solutions. - Understanding of industry-standard requirement formulation, decomposition, flow-down, traceability, and metrics is important, as is the ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans for requirements. - Working with senior engineers to understand the overall program and engineering execution. You are a collaborative systems engineer with 5+ years of experience (or 3 years with a relevant Master’s degree) who thrives in cross‑disciplinary environments. You excel at breaking down complex requirements, managing risk, and delivering clear verification strategies. Your ability to work across silos, engage suppliers, and drive technical trade studies makes you an essential contributor to the storied Skunk Works legacy. This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Requirements

  • Background in / knowledge of Systems Engineering development lifecycle and associated processes.
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel as required (Domestically and Internationally) to support program objectives.
  • 5+ years of experience (or 3 years with a relevant Master’s degree)
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
