Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will: Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution Conduct system verification and support certification activities Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments Work a Non-standard shift as needed Have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support site installs, checkout and integration testing This position requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent combined with minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, C++ or Python
  • Ability to perform data analysis
  • Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent
  • Experience developing engineering requirements or specifications
  • Experience developing engineering test plans
  • Functional knowledge of radar systems, subsystems and components
  • Experience designing, integrating or testing systems with radars/transmitters/sensors
  • Radar systems development experience including signal processing, algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation
  • Hands-on experience with RF systems or antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques
  • Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts, such as evenings, nights and/or weekends as required by the supported program highly desirable
  • Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design implementation
  • Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with automated build and system development
  • Experience with managing pipelines across classification boundaries
  • Ability to deploy new technologies, educate others on their use and integrate them into workflows
