Requirements

  • 14+ year of experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator on contracts and programs of similiar scope
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting a wide array of COTS/GOTS software, packages, and libraries in a mostly Linux environment with some Windows
  • Experience with maintaining security posture for the SSP. This includes mitigating IAVAs, managing POAMs, and navigating customer STE/STN compliance tools
  • Experience managing virtualized environments using VMware ESXi and oversee the configuration of various storage components
  • Experience with hands-on management of Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco Firepower firewalls, including VPN configuration and enclave isolation
  • Experience with modernizing operations by primarily using Ansible for configuration management and deployment
  • Experience performing the sanitization of hardware, firmware, and software removed from the environment in strict accordance with customer policies
  • Experience with issue resolution through hands-on troubleshooting, and discrepancy tracking, using Jira and Confluence
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages including Python
  • Knowledge of customer SSP accreditation processes and the lifecycle of security
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
