We are looking for a dedicated Systems Engineering Manager to lead a team on the NextGen GEO (NGG) program supporting system level integration and resiliency across a complex system of systems. In this role you will: Lead the NGG System Integration team and support overall resiliency implementation NGG. Support SEIT and Program management and leadership developing creative solutions to ensure delivery of NGG space vehicle and ground to support mission requirements. Review system design, implementation, and test results for compliance with principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and use cases. Be responsible for NGG System Integration and Resiliency supporting NGG SV-1 and 2 launch and operations. Lead software integration across all system components, including flight and ground software elements. Lead integration of the NGG Mission Payload into the larger NGG system. Be responsible for integration support across the full lifecycle for changes to the NGG System that include but are not limited to: proposal, design, implementation, integration, test, and delivery to operations of new capabilities. Coordinate with government and customer representatives in support of distributed multi element activities. Be based in Longmont, CO or Sunnyvale, CA with required travel to various sites in Colorado and California.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an Engineering or closely related field, or equivalent experience
  • Full lifecycle systems engineering process knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with DoD program support
  • Program/Project Management and/or leadership experience
  • Knowledge or experience with system-of-system integration and test
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
