Your Mission: As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in navigating the program lifecycle, supporting development, software installation testing, deployments, and field support for a wide range of Logistics Information systems, primarily the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) systems. Your expertise will help sustain the F-35 IT backbone, ensuring the speed, agility, and insights necessary to stay ahead of rapidly evolving threats. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Engineering or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience with basic computer troubleshooting
  • Problem solving, debugging IT issues on Windows or Linux systems
  • Ability to collaborate and integrate with high-performance multi-functional teams
  • Flexibility/Adaptability with type of work and work schedule
  • Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+, Linux+)
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance and Special Access Program requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ALIS/ODIN Software Design, I&T, Sustainment a plus
  • Self-starter who identifies problems, determines, and acts on courses of action, and escalates to leadership when help, direction or approval is required
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of COTS software products
  • Familiarity with scripting tools (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Familiarity with distributed databases, query languages, and/or data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience working with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configuration/updates
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Windows OS, Linux administration, Ansible, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA) and GitLab
  • Ability to work independently while multitasking
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer systems and equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting/debugging, and mitigating complex integrated computer systems and database anomalies
  • Perform in a DevSecOps environment and partner with other engineering disciplines
  • Field Support for software installation and integration at customer sites (some domestic and international travel required <20%)
  • Root cause & corrective action analysis and documentation
  • Customer interactions with Military organizations across the F-35 global fleet
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders during early integration, system install testing, Software code reviews, Software Release Dry Runs, and site Installation readiness reviews (IRRs)
