About The Position

You will be the Systems Engineer for the F-16/FA-50 System Integration and Test (SI&T) team. Our team conducts the avionics system level testing for all F-16 and FA-50 upgrades and new production aircraft. This includes integration testing and formal verification in a desktop environment, lab environment, and support of flight test. As the Systems Engineer you will be responsible for working with your assigned agile team to conduct avionics system level testing across various F-16 aircraft configurations for your team's assigned capabilities. These activities will be done for multiple avionics capabilities including but not limited to Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI), Link-16 data link, radar, pods, stores/weapons, displays, and mission computer systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar STEM discipline
  • You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • Physically able to access aircraft cockpit test fixtures and conduct lab testing for typical 6-hour test shifts.
  • Must be willing and able to conform with flight line dress code and FOD requirements.
  • Aircraft avionics experience including but not limited to navigation systems, A-G weapons, UAI, A-A weapons, sensors/pods, communication systems, etc.
  • Experience with testing of avionics software and hardware
  • Experience operating in an agile environment
  • Proficient in data analysis, problem identification/isolation, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of the systems engineering process
  • Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Conduct avionics software and hardware integration testing in a laboratory environment
  • Support avionics troubleshooting in the lab and on the aircraft
  • Develop test procedures based on system requirements
  • Develop and conduct automated test scripts
  • Organize and coordinate testing and troubleshooting activities with your agile leads
