About The Position

RCT is hiring an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical Entitlement Programs, including IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, and digital policy management. The role blends systems administration, cloud engineering, and infrastructure design, with a focus on AWS-based environments, modern DevOps practices, and resilient architectures.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Polygraph
BS with 8–12 years or MS with 10–13 years of relevant experience
Strong AWS experience (console & CLI)
Kubernetes containerization
Linux systems administration and Bash scripting
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation)
Automation tools (Jenkins, Rundeck)
Security accreditation and controls experience
Excellent communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience

Nice To Haves

C2S experience (4+ years)
High-availability and multi-region failover design
Log aggregation/analysis (Elasticsearch, Kibana)
IdAM/ICAM and entitlement systems experience
Serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Python)
AWS certifications
Knowledge of IAM and Zero Trust principles

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance infrastructure for both legacy and new mission applications
Design and deploy modern solutions (containers, serverless, self-healing systems)
Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team with 3-week delivery cycles
Participate in backlog grooming, planning, and team collaboration
Share operational (O&M) duties, including limited after-hours on-call rotation
