What You Will Do You will be working as part of a team to define defense systems requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions
  • Experience in System Integration & Test of hardware and software
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings
  • Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools
  • Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing system performance data with respect to requirements
  • Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
  • Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers and internal leadership
  • Defining and updating concept of operations (CONOPS)
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams in support of development of a missile defense system
  • Apply Project Management principles, including action tracking, status reporting, task monitoring, and risk management.
  • Facilitate professional meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, solving challenges and driving project progress.
  • Maintain project plans, status updates, and action items, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
