In this position, you will serve as a systems engineer with a focus on systems analysis on challenging software development projects. You will be engaged with exciting and innovative advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies. This position is located in Fulton, MD and does require some travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience performing data reduction and analysis in support of integration and test activities
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other Engineering related discipline
  • Prior experience as a systems analyst/system engineer, developing system models and simulations, developing complex algorithmic solutions in a tool such as MATLAB.
  • Experience with any of these systems: Command and Control (C2), Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems or Combat/Fire Control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical contributor on a small to medium software development program.
  • Perform full life cycle systems engineering tasks including system requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation (V&V), formal testing, and software installation.
  • Work with department systems engineering subject matter experts to solve critical technical problems with innovative solutions.
  • Provide engineering expertise in the area of complex mathematics, design analysis, simulation, system performance testing.
