In this position, you will serve as a systems engineer with a focus on systems analysis on challenging software development projects. You will be engaged with exciting and innovative advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies. This position is located in Fulton, MD and does require some travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

Experience performing data reduction and analysis in support of integration and test activities
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other Engineering related discipline
Prior experience as a systems analyst/system engineer, developing system models and simulations, developing complex algorithmic solutions in a tool such as MATLAB.
Experience with any of these systems: Command and Control (C2), Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems or Combat/Fire Control systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical contributor on a small to medium software development program.
Perform full life cycle systems engineering tasks including system requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation (V&V), formal testing, and software installation.
Work with department systems engineering subject matter experts to solve critical technical problems with innovative solutions.
Provide engineering expertise in the area of complex mathematics, design analysis, simulation, system performance testing.
