About This Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory Systems Engineer II to join our AD/DNS team. As a Systems Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of the Microsoft Active Directory and DNS systems, both on-prem and cloud-based, with a strong emphasis on Entra ID and cloud technologies. Experience in the financial industry and with compliance regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, and HiTrust will be highly valued. A a key member on our Global WorkPlace Technologies team, this position is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of the Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, and DNS systems. The ideal candidate is expected to be a thought leader on strategic decisions as well as operational support. This individual contributor position will be an integral part of a dynamic, cross-functional Global WorkPlace Technologies team responsible for the engineering, operations, and support of our enterprise platforms. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent, along with relevant Microsoft Entra and Active Directory experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience implementing complex technology solutions, gathering requirements, and working with application teams.
  • 3-5 years of expert knowledge in Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Microsoft Entra ID
  • 3+ years of experience in IT.
  • In-depth knowledge of PowerShell.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with Quest Active Roles Server.
  • Experience with Azure Analytics and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Quest Change Auditor.
  • Familiarity with Quest Enterprise Reporter.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with AD Forest migrations.

  • Design, build, implement, and support Microsoft best practices for both on-premises and cloud-based directory services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and PKI with an emphasis on Entra ID (Azure AD) and cloud technologies.
  • Serve as a thought leader in directory services and DNS in cloud environments, primarily Azure.
  • Monitor the reliability and security of multiple domains to ensure 99.9% uptime and zero security incidents related to identities and systems access.
  • Maintain replication, trusts, and server resources to ensure optimal Active Directory/DNS environments.
  • Identify and address potential issues proactively by eliminating "tech debt" and non-standard best practices through innovative solutions.
  • Identify and implement automation to simplify management and increase efficiency.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the core business to provide innovative solutions to address its challenges.
  • Implement Group Policy based on Microsoft best practices and utilize AGPM to version control Group Policy changes.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Mentor junior Active Directory Engineers to foster strong working relationships and knowledge sharing.
