Systems Engineer I- Manufacturing (Germantown)
About The Position
TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced System Engineer- Manufacturing I in Germantown, TN. Design mechanical elevator system layouts for Engineer-to-Order value stream based on defined, pre-engineered products to meet customer specifications. Utilize building drawings, job specifications, and controlled engineering documents/tools to create layout drawings using 2D and 3D drafting systems. Participate in cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and make process improvements. This is a safety sensitive position
Responsibilities
- Design pre-engineered elevator system layouts based on product specific mechanical and electrical system requirements according to engineering specifications, building plans, and/or survey data using 2D and 3D software.
- Process layout submittals based on a daily production schedule to meet specific KPI's with support from team members.
- Review instructional engineering documents and designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to established quality specifications and standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, problem-solving activities, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
- Product lines include but are not limited to: Evolution 100/200, Endura, and Synergy 300E.
