About The Position

Northstrat is searching for personnel experienced in Requirements and Testing Analysis. The job duties include translating business requirements into technology requirements as features and behaviors that a system or product must provide to meet the needs and expectations of its users and stakeholders. In Support of functional testing, candidates support testing and check if features of the System are working as expected according to its specified requirements. The primary goal of functional testing is to ensure that the software performs the functions it was assigned to do. Day-to-day expectations are to work as part of a scrum agile-team to support user engagement, requirements gathering, documentation, and testing of team products in line with client requirements. Apply research and development techniques to progress product from an idea into production.

Requirements

  • Candidate shall have 1 year of experience leading requirements analysis/testing for systems engineering/data validation/development projects.
  • Must have an active US government top secret clearance in order to be eligible. No exceptions.
  • Ability to work with customer/business owners to gather and develop functional data, performance, system, security requirements.
  • Experience in understanding business intelligence systems ETL development, and warehouse/relational database concepts, including industry best practices.
  • Experience conducting demonstrations and briefings to show incremental progress.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on complex technical topics and effectively communicating details with all levels of management.
  • Ability to execute document and provide guidance on unit test plans, test data, and test results.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing or using Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) or similar Business Intelligence Platforms
  • Experience testing or troubleshooting relational databases with SQL
  • Experience with data analysis
