The Financial Functional Analyst supports the JTMS Finance Functional Branch by leading and supporting the elicitation, analysis, definition, and management of financial business requirements across USTRANSCOM and Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE) stakeholders. This role ensures financial requirements are clearly documented, traceable, audit-ready, and aligned with DoD financial management regulations and ERP agile delivery practices. The Functional Requirements Analyst III supports the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) Joint Program Office as a senior logistics subject matter expert, ensuring that operational requirements for transportation and logistics are accurately captured, refined, and translated into disciplined, actionable functional designs. This role provides stewardship over requirements spanning airlift, sealift, surface transportation, and the broader Defense Transportation System, enabling alignment across joint stakeholders and predictable delivery within an Agile governance environment. Success in this role is demonstrated by clearly defined, traceable requirements that reflect validated operational needs; well-facilitated stakeholder forums that drive timely decisions; and functional designs that enable development teams to deliver compliant, mission-aligned capabilities. The Analyst is trusted by government leadership as a reliable integrator across Services, Agencies, and functional domains.
