The System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall architecture of complex systems, ensuring they meet business needs and are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. This role focuses on the technical aspects of system-level architecture, including hardware, software, and network components, and requires a deep understanding of integration, system performance, and troubleshooting. The System Architect plays a key role in defining how different components of a system interact and contribute to achieving business goals.He/she has a deep understanding of business goals, objective and business outcomes, business capabilities, value-streams, and business processes. The Systems Architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. He or she creates deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions — including systems (applications, processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes.
