About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Systems Architect III for our client. The Systems Architect will provide innova­tive solutions within a diverse enterprise environment with multiple cloud services and on -premises infra­structure components. The technical lead will have experience analyzing new and current technologies used within an organi¬zation with the ability to document and recommend solutions to improve performance, stability, and cost savings. The candidate should also be prepared to lead projects when required and apply various project methodologies to ensure successful delivery while also working directly with the team. The qualified candidate will have experience leading a project team as a technical expert in system im¬plementation, working with project managers and leadership to set project goals, identifying subject matter experts, providing technical best practices to help in decision making, and taking the lead in technical support for different projects and systems. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to provide clear and timely status updates to management and to contribute proactively to collaboration meetings. The candidate should demon¬strate accountability by taking ownership of outcomes, recognizing areas for improvement, and fostering a solutions -oriented approach. The candidate will have expert level system administration skills for Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory Administration, and other MS core services like Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS, to manage, monitor, and support Agency Managed Application Servers. The candidate must be comfortable working hands -on with systems while guiding the team strategically. The candidate must have high -level knowledge of Omnissa Horizon and vSphere with proven experience in design, deployment, and trou¬bleshooting of virtual desktop and virtualization environments. The candidate will be well versed in the creation, support, and maintenance of certificates for core sys¬tems, 3rd party integrations, and other authentication or authorization service needs. NOTE: WISCONSIN BASED CANDIDATES ONLY (OR THOSE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO WISCONSIN WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE START DATE). ALL WORK MUST BE DONE IN WISCONSIN. Duration: 06/30/2026 with extensions possible. On call hours and weekend maintenance/support will be required. Hybrid position: 90% Remote, 10% In Person (on an as needed basis). Selected candidate must provide copies of any/all certifications as part of the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Expert level experience in the MS Windows server administration including all current supported OS versions.
  • Active Directory Group Policy implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Expert knowledge in supporting certificate services.
  • Expert experience in implementing technology best practices in an organization.
  • MS Visio - Proven competencies in documenting infrastructure components for complex systems.
  • Expert knowledge in configuring LDAP.
  • Leading teams and projects.
  • Expert knowledge of multi -factor authentication services.
  • High -level knowledge of Omnissa Horizon and vSphere.
  • MS Office 365 support – Teams, email, other.
  • System administrator for MS Azure subscriptions and services.
