This is for a future opportunity MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Architect II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter's effectiveness. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Project Management Experience with Agile processes, iterative design, and continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Must have a current and active Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting large scale distributed platform
  • Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (BDPs)
  • Experience working with government programs

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software application architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards
  • Ensure software solutions are aligned with business and technical requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and direction for project
  • Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines
  • Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy
  • Serve in a variety of technical roles throughout the development lifecycle or operational support with specialty in the area of developing and maintaining enterprise architecture
