About The Position

Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. KRS Division dba Kaydon Ring & Seal (“KRS”) is responsible for Aerospace and Industrial applications. KRS has a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace and Industrial industries. Our business is fully customer focused, with products specifically designed for an engine/airframe application and then produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of KRS. Job Summary The Systems Analyst is a mid-level, individual contributor role responsible for owning the analysis, configuration, and ongoing support of enterprise systems and technology platforms supporting manufacturing and business operations. This role serves as a primary technical resource for systems initiatives, enhancements, and projects, while ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance within an ITAR-regulated environment. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective systems solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis, systems administration, or enterprise IT roles.
  • Demonstrated experience owning systems or leading systems-related projects.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise environments, including Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related tools
  • Strong understanding of systems analysis principes, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including operating systems, directory services, networking fundamentals, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical and business problems and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Demonstrated project execution skills, including planning, prioritization, and coordination across stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment while adhering to established standards, security controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, operational environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 20 pounds as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to ERP, MES, or other enterprise business systems.
  • Experience with system integrations, automation, or scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary owner for assigned enterprise systems, including analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
  • Lead and execute systems-related projects and enhancements, including upgrades, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Analyze business and operational requirements and translate them into technical system solutions.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify system gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce system documentation, procedures, and technical standards.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues impacting reliability or compliance.
  • Provide escalation-level support for complex system issues; routine end-user support is secondary and performed as needed.
  • Ensure all systems access and activities comply with IT security policies, export controls, and ITAR requirements.
  • Support and mentor junior IT staff or contractors as assigned.
  • Assist with technology evaluations and vendor coordination.
  • Participate in audits, assessments, and compliance reviews as required.
