Requirements

  • Information System/MIS, Computer Science or Networking degree with three to five years’ experience or advanced degree and/or superior associated technical knowledge and skills required.
  • Application and Network Discipline experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be customer focused.
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provides end user support with their desktop, laptop, printer, phone, and mobile device solutions, system configuration, and training.
  • Solves end user inquiries that arise during day-to-day use of computer systems, phones, and mobile devices.
  • Oversees software updates for all desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Installs, tests, implements and supports end-user software.
  • Manages enterprise printing and imaging contracts and vendors.
  • Provides Help Desk phone support to end users and coordinates and oversees end user requests for non-local IT assistance via the Helix and Watchtower ticket systems.
  • Provides end user support of desktop computing and operating system software to large customer base.

  • Weekly on-call rotation for IT support of facility is required.
