We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to support operations in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time, CONUS position requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected award date of March 2026. What You’ll Do As a Systems Administrator you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and detecting cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks, that serve U.S. government missions at the Cambridge corporate office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies
  • Up to 25% travel, CONUS may be required: some overnight stays possible.
  • Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY/OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation
  • Drug screening may be required for federal contract compliance

Responsibilities

  • Network System Management: Oversee daily operations of computer networks, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install and update network systems, including both hardware and software components.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage security tools like firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • System Configuration: Monitor and maintain the configuration of both hardware and software for optimal system performance.
  • Web and Interface Design: Design and update web pages, ensuring their functionality and user interface are up to date.
  • Staff Training: Train employees on the software applications they need for their roles.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with IT-related issues, providing guidance on various systems and technologies.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain local system design documents to track configurations, processes, and procedures.
