About The Position

The Systems Administrator will be responsible to support, troubleshoot, and maintain computer servers and networks both onPrem and government cloud hosted. This position is located at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. What will you be doing? This position will be a key member of the Information Systems team. Duties include but not limited to: Managing Azure and Linux systems Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software both locally and in the cloud Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts Performing regular security tests and security monitoring Maintaining networks and network file systems. Must be familiar with cloud applications such as Office365, Azure, and Terraform. Patching, implementing STIGS, ensuring cyber security compliance. Understand how to create and manage POAM (plans of actions and milestones)

Requirements

  • Azure Administrator Associate and CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
  • Ability to perform research on technical issues, both for cyber compliance and vendor specific issues.
  • Ability to understand how to apply STIGS and other DoD security requirements.
  • Work as part of a team of both technical and project managers.
  • Education in information technology field, i.e. help desk, sys admin related training
  • Minimum of 5 years business experience
  • Must be able have standard business skills such as writing, presentations, communication, detail oriented, works well in team environment, multitask, handle fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English.
