MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in systems administration of hardware and software in support of developing and testing of information technology systems
  • Experience with server STE/STN Compliancy (ex., NESSUS, MacAfee Agents) and performing server management relating to security tools such as patch management (applying O/S updates, IAVAs, and configuration changes)
  • Experience with performing system administration on Linux Redhat 8/Rocky 8 (Command Line)
  • Experience working with a team to introduce and integrate new technologies into existing production environments
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as nxLog, Graphana, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, SaltStack (SALT) desirable
  • Experience with installing PKI certs
  • Experience with Nifi to forward collected log events to repository for analysis.
  • Experience with launching and configuring VMWare instances
  • Experience with creating/maintaining bash scripts to dump and load databases
  • Experience with SALT to deploy config files to end node and do various interrogations (ping, DNS)

  • Creating and managing virtual environments
  • Systems administration of hardware and software in support of maintenance, developing and testing of information technology systems
  • Administration of Linux (i.e., Redhat/Rocky 8)
  • Configuring and maintaining storage and file systems
  • Developing and delivering briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management
