Overview: This customer is seeking a motivated, disciplined, and detail‑oriented Junior Systems Administrator to support their modern, cloud‑first IT environment. This role is ideal for someone who has progressed out of help desk, brings strong Microsoft 365/Intune experience, and thrives in a go‑getter culture where autonomy, ownership, and proactive problem‑solving are expected. -100% onsite during ramp period (hybrid flexibility may be earned after onboarding) -Shift: 8:30am-5:30pm EST (Opportunity for overtime during weekly on-call hours) Responsibilities: -Administer user accounts, security groups, and licensing in Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (Entra ID). -Provide Tier 1–2 support for Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. -Create/manage SharePoint sites, document libraries, permissions, and basic governance cleanup. -Enroll and support Windows/iOS/Android devices through Intune/Endpoint Manager. -Manage compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployments, and Autopilot provisioning. -Support endpoint security by monitoring alerts, verifying agent health, and escalating suspicious activity. -Provide first‑level troubleshooting for VPN access, MFA issues, and basic firewall/switch monitoring. -Deliver Tier 1–2 support for hardware, connectivity, MFA, and general Windows/application issues. -Assist with imaging, device provisioning, and hardware lifecycle management. -Maintain accurate asset inventories, SOP documentation, and KB articles. -Help reduce escalations by improving help desk ticket quality and providing guidance when needed. -Participate in project work across M365, Intune, SharePoint, and general systems operations. -Document systems, network changes, and environment updates to support team knowledge and change management.
