We are seeking a Systems Administrator to support enterprise IT infrastructure operations for a mission-critical defense program in Oahu, Hawaii. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing Windows and/or Linux server environments within a secure, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, experience working in regulated DoW environments, and a proactive approach to system reliability, cybersecurity compliance, and performance optimization.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education (e.g., an applicable training certificate and two years of undergraduate coursework may be considered equivalent to a degree).
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in system administration or related technical fields.
  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance. TS Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring the functionality, efficiency, and maintenance of one or more operating systems.
  • Tasks include installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems to ensure operational efficiency, as well as supervising and delegating software installations, updates, and system maintenance in alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates and assigns system administration tasks, evaluates personnel performance, and collaborates with architecture and development teams to recommend enhancements that improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Resolves complex technical problems by applying specialized subject matter knowledge to design, development, integration, and implementation efforts across areas such as identity management, business processes, and logistical support activities.
