About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to maintain the health, stability, and security of our core IT infrastructure. This role manages servers, identity services, and network components while serving as the Tier 3 escalation point for the Helpdesk. The Systems Administrator ensures reliable operations, performs proactive maintenance, and leads troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of systems/infrastructure admin experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID/M365.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking fundamentals, and change management.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in productive environments.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in midsize enterprise environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of backup/monitoring/DR tools, security collaboration, and PowerShell automation is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor servers, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure.
- Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity/security controls.
- Support firewalls, switches, wireless, and site-to-site connectivity.
- Oversee monitoring systems, backup validation, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Provide Tier 3 support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to Helpdesk staff.
- Create and maintain infrastructure documentation and procedures.
