About The Position

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to deploy new technologies, design, install, configure, maintain, and perform system integration testing of PC/server operating systems, utilities, and hardware. The role involves troubleshooting server issues, supporting web access and electronic messaging services, and ensuring a secure systems environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience.
• High level of expertise in multiple system environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex hardware, software, and network problems.
• Experience in defining procedures for monitoring and evaluating system performance.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team and provide leadership as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new technologies and manage releases in a PC/server environment.
• Design, install, and configure operating systems, related utilities, and hardware.
• Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot server problems reported by users.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new software and hardware products.
• Support web access and electronic messaging services while maintaining system security.
• Provide hardware specifications based on application needs and anticipated growth.
• Install new servers and maintain the server infrastructure.
• Define procedures for system monitoring and evaluate, diagnose, and resolve system issues.
• Work on multiple projects, sometimes leading as a project leader, and coach junior technical staff.
