About The Position

We're seeking a skilled initiative-taking Systems Administrator to join a fast-paced team in Aurora, CO. The Systems Administrator will provide IT systems administration of a Windows-based computer information system. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding or knowledge of Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity including the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). You must have a good understanding of basic Networking and AD concepts in a technological environment. Installation and configuring of software applications requested by end-users daily. Requirements

  • Associate degree in IT or related field (or equivalent combination of education & experience)
  • 3+ years of system administration or help desk operations experience in a secure environment
  • Develop and maintain Technical Documentation and instructions
  • Knowledgeable and experience in application of STIGs to secure Windows services and applications
  • Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, Exchange, VMWare, switches, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with Windows 2016/2019, PowerShell, NAS, SAN, vSphere, and ESX
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with poly (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or STEM with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CI Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA Server+ or A+, MCSE/MCSA, Security+ (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain all Production, Pre-Production, and Development systems in a Windows-based environment
  • Implement and monitor the Enterprise Windows Servers testing and installation of patches, updates, additional tools, and future versions of all software on a regular basis
  • Perform Systems lifecycle management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of enterprise hardware and software
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure system compatibility with defined architecture and meet customer needs
  • Develop technical process documentation, including CONOPS, user guides, and test plans
