About The Position

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the Office of Space Launch (OSL) and the United States Space Force (USSF) under the prestigious Mission Assurance Support Contract (MASC). Responsibilities: Mission-Critical Support: Contribute to Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Telemetry Operations, and the Launch Display System, enhancing mission awareness and supporting the OSL and USSF’s space launch capabilities. Launch Operations: Provide essential support during Launch and Rehearsal Operations for NRO and SSC missions. Technical Expertise: Offer top-notch technical support for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including networks, PCs, printers, and peripherals. Workstation Configuration: Set up and configure workstations, install software, and connect to shared drives and peripheral devices. User Management: Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and robust security protocols. Requirements

  • US Citizen is required to obtain DoD Secret to TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based operating systems, PC hardware, and software.
  • BS/BA or 3 years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • Ability to obtain Security+ CE certification.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • Previous experience in physical and logical network infrastructure installation or deployment/refresh projects.
  • Experience with making configuration changes on switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Experience with New Generation Firewalls.
  • Previous Department of Defense experience.
