About The Position

Hiring for a Systems Administrator to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be the administrative owner of the DevOps tool stack including Jama Software Requirements management tool, Ketryx and Atlassian tools and work with key stakeholders to implement and support integrations with other systems such as Jira and Test Rail. You will be joining a well-established company that’s on an upward growth trajectory. The main function of a Systems Administrator is to be responsible for system administration of core systems as well as monitoring and repair of high performance computing systems. Ensures consistent and reliable operation including enterprise servers and network infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
5-7 years' experience required.
Proven work experience as a system or network administrator.
You have a minimum 5-7 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field
A minimum of 5 years' experience with Jama Connect and other tools admin.
You have proven history of systems administration within an environment with many users and stake holders
You have experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities

Provides wide ranging system administration in a multi-platform environment.
Responsible for general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, urgent system patching.
Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware components that are problematic.
Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, network disruption awareness and predefined key processes.
Reviews system logs, application logs and security logs.
