GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance to provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012/2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments. Requirements

  • High School with 10+ years systems administration (or commensurate experience).
  • Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical lead for a team of System Administrators.
  • Collaborate with management to understand system needs.
  • Recommend configurations to meet customer needs and document builds for approval.
  • Administer large-scale Windows-based environments, commercial off-the-shelf applications, and government-developed enterprise applications.
  • Administer and maintain enterprise management software.
  • Provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012/2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments.
  • Configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) applications.
  • Administer Linux and/or UNIX Operating Systems.
  • Apply knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL queries, and scripting.
  • Use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Provide Windows System Administration including Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit).
  • Configure and manage virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Work with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and/or ScienceLogic SL1.
