About The Position

Systems Administrator The Opportunity: Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We’re looking for a system administrator to serve as a team lead and intermediary between the Computer Support Team and upper management to help articulate assignments, plan work, train or arrange training for personnel, and provide input to the supervisor on performance management and personnel administration functions. As a Systems Administrator on our team, you’ll help lead troubleshooting efforts, manage escalated technical problems, improve support processes, and maintain documentation. In this role you will configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Micro sof t Desktop Operating Systems, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI ) and work with Micro sof t Active Directory account management and permissions. You’ll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn met rics into information and articulate their meaning. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing, integrating, and configuring enterprise architecture with Linux and Windows and Virtual Environments
  • Experience designing and maintaining Micro sof t Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • Knowledge of VMWare Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Infrastructure set up
  • Top Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-level security systems, Access Cross Domain Solutions, and Transfer Cross Domain Solutions
  • Experience accrediting cross domain solutions, including access and transfer, and coordinating with NCDSMO and DoD CDS office
  • Experience with design, installation, configuration, testing, management, and troubleshooting of sof tware and hardware of the systems and services of the DCO environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining System Design Document, System Configuration Guide, System Administration Guide, Testing Manuals, Backup and Disa ster Recovery Guide, and Training Manuals
  • Experience developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and procedures to meet requirements
  • Knowledge of Raise-The-Bar requirements implemented by NCDSMO
  • Knowledge of XML formatting and XML schema development
  • TS / SCI clearance
