Systems Administrator
About The Position
SAIC is currently looking to hire an on-site Systems Administrator for our TSSL team located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Program Information: The ICOFT provides realistic institutional training in all areas of the THAAD Enhanced Operator/Maintainer operations and maintenance tasks for the THAAD Fire Control and Communication (TFCC), Radar, and Launcher components. Responsibilities Include: Experience with the application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating systems and other networked devices Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization, Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Requirements
- Prior experience with Microsoft Server products
- Prior experience with Microsoft Windows products
- Prior experience with VMware/vSphere.
- Prior experience with Omnissa (VMware) Horizon
- Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Prior experience with Cisco network devices
- Prior experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Prior experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) Devices
- Prior experience with PowerShell
- Active Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification and applicable operating systems certifications
- BS and five (5) years or more experience; six (6)years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
