About The Position

The AES Group INC. is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to join our IT Support team in New York, NY. This role requires strong technical depth and the ability to support the full stack of IT initiatives across production and development environments. As a Systems Administrator, you will support day-to-day technical operations, manage infrastructure systems, and deliver exceptional internal support. This position requires deep expertise in operating systems, networking, security standards, and enterprise application environments. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and highly available while maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows and macOS environments
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking (DHCP, DNS, and related protocols)
  • Experience configuring, managing, and supporting desktop, laptop, and server operating systems
  • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting network devices
  • Familiarity with Two-Factor Authentication solutions
  • Experience using SCCM for desktop OS deployment and software management
  • Proficiency with VPNs, remote work solutions, and video conferencing tools
  • Experience with local storage, NAS technologies, and cloud-based solutions
  • Strong understanding of security standards and best practices
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • Experience working with helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-house technical support for production and development environments
  • Manage and resolve support requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Deliver high-quality technical support and user experience
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including hardware and software provisioning
  • Maintain asset management for company hardware and software inventory
  • Support workstation, server, and infrastructure hardware maintenance
  • Participate in rotational evening/weekend support as required
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment
