About The Position

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you'll play a key leadership role in managing and optimizing Modigent’s core business systems, including email, voice, collaboration platforms, servers, networks, databases, and enterprise applications. You will ensure these systems operate reliably as a cohesive unit, troubleshoot complex issues, drive continuous improvement, and provide technical leadership to the IT team. This senior-level position combines deep technical expertise with the ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions in a dynamic, multi-company environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, and enterprise application management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong technical expertise in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 365, servers, networks, databases, and collaboration tools.
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to assess complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, provide direction to team members, and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Self-starter with high energy, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive relationships with internal customers and vendors.
  • Experience with system integration, change management, documentation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support assigned business systems (email, voice, collaboration, servers, networks, databases, and enterprise applications) to ensure they function efficiently as an integrated environment.
  • Field and resolve complex help desk tickets, application issues, and infrastructure problems for end users across the organization.
  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into system, process, or application improvements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional teams, providing recommendations on new initiatives, system enhancements, and technology projects.
  • Monitor, test, and tune system performance; preserve and analyze system logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage system changes following established change management processes.
  • Collaborate with IT partners, functional analysts, and vendors to coordinate system enhancements and integrations.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot data collection, storage, and business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports for departmental and leadership use.
  • Communicate new system functionality to users and assist with training and adoption.
  • Work to enhance or improve business processes through system integration while minimizing disruption.
  • Compile and maintain an accurate inventory of organizational software and system assets.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to other IT team members on specific tasks and initiatives.
