About The Position

Information Technology is an integral component of Innove, Inc.’s administrative and operational environment. The Systems Administrator / IT Generalist is a hands-on, well-rounded IT professional responsible for supporting the full spectrum of company technology needs. This role blends systems administration, hardware and networking support, end-user services, and general IT operations. This position is ideal for a proactive, service-oriented technologist who is comfortable working across multiple IT domains, communicating clearly with internal customers, and coordinating with vendors and partners when needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management skills, a continuous-improvement mindset, and a go-getter attitude toward solving problems and improving the business through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Hardware & Device Support:
  • PC provisioning and lifecycle management (Windows 10 and Windows 11)
  • Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and peripherals
  • Support conference room, AV, phone systems, WiFi access points, and IoT devices
  • Asset management
  • Systems, Software, & Cloud Administration:
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Power BI
  • Manage users and groups in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • License management and cost awareness
  • Support Windows Server environments and hybrid infrastructure
  • End-User & IT Generalist Support:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day IT support across the organization
  • Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused support through the IT ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and access-related issues for end users
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding including account provisioning and equipment setup
  • Network & Security:
  • Troubleshoot and support corporate network infrastructure (Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto)
  • Support VPN and remote access solutions
  • Administer endpoint security tools (EDR/EDX)
  • Support physical security systems including access control and cameras
  • Assist with DNS, DHCP, and basic network services
  • Operations, Reliability & Improvement:
  • Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Monitor system health and performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and efficiency
  • Implement automation and best practices
  • Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance
  • Documentation & Process
  • Maintain system and process documentation
  • Document procedures and user guides
  • Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement
  • Other job responsibilities as assigned
