About The Position

We are seeking a Systems Administrator / Information Systems Engineer in support of the Marine Corps. Responsibilities include providing Subject Matter Expertise and technical support to MCICOM G4, Food Service in support of the Marine Corps Financial Management Information System (MCFMIS). This role will provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and technical onsite support to MCICOM G4, Food Service, in support of MCFMIS. The ideal candidate's technical expertise shall include extensive knowledge of information technology systems and how to incorporate and maintain them on the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN). In this position, you will be required to provide the following: Administers, maintains, patches, and sustains enterprise systems Supports Windows, Oracle, Citrix environments Performs system maintenance and upgrades Coordinates with IA, S6/G6, and external vendors Ensures compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies Provides onsite operational support and troubleshooting

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Highschool Diploma/ GED.
  • THREE (3) or more years of systems administration or information systems engineering experience.
  • IAT Level II certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-environment Expertise: Experience working across diverse environments (e.g., Windows, Citrix, MCEN) to ensure seamless integration and support for complex systems like MCFMIS.
  • Security Compliance Management: Familiarity with DOD and Marine Corps security policies, and the ability to assist with security compliance tasks such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and maintaining system ATO.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting abilities for resolving technical issues related to MCFMIS, POS systems, and network infrastructure in a timely manner, particularly under tight deadlines.
  • Project Coordination & Management: Ability to manage and coordinate technical refreshes, updates, patches, and system upgrades across multiple locations while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to serve as a liaison between vendors, IT teams, contractors, and the IA community to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on security and technical requirements.
