About The Position
Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is looking for a talented Systems Administrator III to support the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific Service Centers in Point Loma, CA. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations within the Data Center and Cloud Hosting Services (DC2HS) Division. As a Systems Administrator III, you will take charge of complex system administration tasks and lead initiatives to enhance system performance and security. This position is contingent on contract award
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and software, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
- Evaluate and optimize system specifications, input/output processes, as well as hardware and software compatibility.
- Troubleshoot complex networking and operating system issues, providing expert-level analysis and resolution.
- Research, implement, and recommend automation strategies to streamline administrative processes.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to junior staff, cultivating a collaborative environment.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for system administration tasks and complex issues.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and protocols.
