Systems Administrator II
About The Position
Work independently to provide quality solutions. Supporting system integration, troubleshooting, patching, STIG implementation, configuration management, and maintaining various hardware/software Position Responsibilities: Perform system integration, software installation, and configuration. Support software maintenance, software installation, hardware configuration, setup, & maintenance Support integration, manage and resolve install issues. Support testing, including Verification and Validation, Software Functional Tests, Cybersecurity Compliance Testing and other test events as required. Support will include system troubleshooting, test execution, and record keeping.
Requirements
- VMWare experience in a Windows and Linux environment
- Along with VMWare experience in creating and building build images.
- Windows and Linux RedHat experience
- Experience with SQL database
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience utilizing Active Directory/Group Policies
- Experience with PowerShell and creating scripts
- Experience with Smart Deploy
- Engineering capabilities such as experience with PowerShell to create and decode scripts.
- Network configuration and troubleshooting experience.
- MUST be a US Citizen
- Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Nice To Haves
- BS in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field preferred.
- IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
