About The Position

Administering and supporting Cisco network hardware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, and associated software to ensure consistent system availability and optimized performance Conducting regular monitoring and analysis of network and system performance, promptly identifying and resolving potential issues or security threats Installing, configuring, and maintaining network/server hardware, operating system updates (specifically RHEL), and security patches in compliance with DoD standards Deploying and maintaining containerized applications to support scalable and efficient software solutions Collaborating with IT support teams to troubleshoot technical issues, implement system improvements, and adapt to evolving operational needs #LI-LL1

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in a network and computer systems administrator role
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related discipline
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or higher)
  • Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Experience with Cisco switching and routing
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Demonstrated ability to configure, monitor, and maintain complex network and computer systems to ensure operational integrity and continuous connectivity in accordance with DoD requirements
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues using diagnostic tools and structured support methodologies
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
