Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience, including advanced military technical training (e.g., Navy "C" School) with demonstrated capabilities, will also be considered.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Systems Administrator II: 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Systems Administrator III: 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level DoD security clearance are required.
  • A current clearance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, Secure, and Maintain: System administration tasks, upgrades, security hardening, and maintenance of critical systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Network Architect: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches, ensuring a robust and secure network infrastructure.
  • Security Champion: Implement and maintain security best practices, including DISA STIGs, and contribute to our compliance with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and CMMC frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Documentation Master: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of internal processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • On-Site Support: Travel to customer locations for system installations, upgrades, and repairs (approximately 5% travel).
  • End User Support: Provide end-user support for system-related issues, ensuring a positive user experience.
