Systems Administrator I will perform work in the Solarity infrastructure on Windows and Linux systems supporting both internal a customer facing applications. This position is directly responsible for escalation points from our support teams and for escalating unresolved issues within the Infrastructure team for resolution. This position will work primarily in the Windows OS & Linux platforms with some work in hypervisors, networking, and firewall configuration. Primary Responsibilities Work directly with Systems Administrators, support teams and other invested departments to develop, implement and support technology solutions which address identified business and customer needs. Lead cross-training of the IT Support team members as they will be performing basic support of the solutions you design. Develop thorough and accurate standard operating procedures and knowledge base content for solutions and processes. Take the initiative to improve processes, solutions and configurations rather than transact on legacy procedures. Take personal ownership of daily tasks and challenges, ensuring resolution with a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction, with a minimum of direct supervision.
