About The Position

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Security+ CE certification (required) 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations Strong administration experience with: Tenable Nessus Tenable Security Center Tenable Agents Qualys Platform Qualys VMDR Qualys CAR Qualys Policy Assessment (PA) Splunk (SIEM) Solid understanding of: Vulnerability scanning methodologies and CVSS scoring Risk-based vulnerability management Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls) SIEM operations, alerting, and dashboard creation Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking Broad technical background utilizing security technologies, such as Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Network Security. Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation. Strong written and verbal skills The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Security+ CE certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
  • Strong administration experience with: Tenable Nessus Tenable Security Center Tenable Agents Qualys Platform Qualys VMDR Qualys CAR Qualys Policy Assessment (PA) Splunk (SIEM)
