About The Position

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current Polygraph (required to be considered)
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; 2+ additional years of directly related experience may substitute for a degree
  • Experience in Windows Systems Administration, including: Windows 10/11 Windows Active Directory Microsoft Office Suite Windows Server (2016 or newer)
  • Familiarity with desktop/server virtualization
  • DoD 8140 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+) or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire (training and certification costs covered)

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, hands-on and remote IT support to end users, fostering strong relationships and personalized service.
  • Deploy, operate, and maintain multi-user computer systems and associated applications, ensuring seamless functionality and availability.
  • Independently research and troubleshoot complex technical issues, escalating and coordinating solutions with IT engineers and software developers when necessary.
  • Perform security administration, including account creation and maintenance, including account creation, user permissions, client endpoint installation (desktops, thin clients, printers), and troubleshooting policies.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions clearly within our ticketing system to enhance team knowledge and streamline future problem resolution.
  • Support the ongoing migration and operation of services into cloud environments (AWS and Azure), gaining valuable cloud experience.
  • Author, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent and effective IT operations.
