Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D OR 1 of the following certifications: SecurityX / CASP+ CCNP Security CCSP FITSP-O GFACT Preferred - Cloud+ ce, Ribbon Professional Certs
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Technical Support of CONUS IP VTC and Voice Over IP (VOIP) Telephony.
  • Technical Advisor for US Army Voice Modernization version 1.0 and 2.0.
  • Expertise in VoIP and VTC system operations, maintenance, and security.
  • Use of network devices from multiple vendors to include Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Various Network technologies to troubleshoot network issues related to routing, firewall or Access Control List issues

Responsibilities

  • Senior Unified Capabilities Subject Matter Expert.
  • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user systems, including coordination with network engineers.
  • Monitors and manages system resources, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
  • Act as a primary technical interface with government stakeholders, RCC leadership, and vendors, translating mission requirements into technical solutions and providing regular operational and risk status reporting.
  • Drive lifecycle management activities, including software upgrades, configuration governance, and failover planning, ensuring high availability and continuity of service. Provide senior-level escalation support and strategic guidance for complex incidents, balancing operational urgency with long-term architectural stability.
  • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
