I2X Technologies is seeking a System Test Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all Missile Defense System ground tests and flight tests in which the program is a participant. Ground test types include: Pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests. The System Test Engineer is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event: Test objectives Architectures Data Item Descriptions Defense Designs Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Comms Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB) System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs) BDR and PR applicability Certification Data Packages The position also provides the following support: Support planning phase reviews and meetings Support customer boards and meetings Support Data Management Interface with developers Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting Support analysis group Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs)

Requirements

  • Career level typically with an advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent
  • Wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions
  • Works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
  • Failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources
  • Frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
  • Technical knowledge of Missile Defense Systems (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
  • Prior integration and test experience
  • Primarily Linux/RHEL systems
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • active Secret clearance
