The Systems Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning and operational maintenance of each of the core applications related to the Supply Chain Management functional/operational needs of the Materials Management Information System. Responsible for development of Crystal Reporting. Responsible for trending data extracted from each of the core applications supporting the Supply Chain function. Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Access preferred
  • ERP experience required (i.e. Peoplesoft, Lawson).
  • Database management experience required.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, (preferred degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or Supply Chain Management), and 4 years of experience or some college and 8 years of experience IN lieu of degree.
  • 2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills required.
  • Project management experience.
  • Typing skills of 50wpm.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Materials and Resource Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assures accuracy and functionality of all Materials Management/Purchasing applications throughout supply chain functions.
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the item master file, vendor master file, and contract master file.
  • Prepares internal reports related to supply chain operations.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and make operational recommendations based on data.
  • Analyzes external reports regarding Supply Chain operations and works with the Supply Chain Staff to identify solutions.
  • Troubleshoots daily discrepancies; identifies opportunities to maximize system functionalities; implements agreed-upon solutions.
  • Prompt and satisfactory resolution of any service issues which do not support established service level metrics.
  • Provides process, system and application training on new or existing system applications, including developing and maintaining training guides and testing material.
  • Manages system processes, to include but not limited to all pay cycle processes, inventory replenishments, refunds, uploads, and voucher builds.
  • Monitors automated processes which include but are not limited to GHX, direct pay and Siemens.
  • Supervises MMIS Coordinator.
  • Establishes performance measures and goals for MMIS Coordinator.
  • Reports to the System Administrative Director of Supply Chain Management
