About The Position
The System Supervisor of Sterile Processing position requires a thorough knowledge of surgical instruments and the sterilization process. Requirements
- Previous Sterile Processing experience with supply management experience
- Certifications for Central Supply Processing Technician or Central Service Technician required or able to obtain within one year (CBSPD or CRCST)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of instrumentation and supply management
- Proficient in planning, organizing and time management
- Detail oriented
- Able to tolerate emotional and mental stress
- Able to maintain good rapport with and collaborate with all departments
- Has good computer skills; previous experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have passed or complete within two years the CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader for sterile processing management) certification exam
- Must have thorough knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization process
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of AAMI Guidelines preferred
- Management experience is preferred
