Job Summary: Provide a seamless benefits enrollment experience using online enrollment platform to set-up and maintain accurate electronic communication of data to benefit carriers and vendors, ultimately ensuring members receive the coverage they elect from offerings provided to them by their employer.

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills with agency management software systems, basic working knowledge required/Intermediate knowledge preferred of Microsoft: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Able to function independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
  • Associate degree or higher is preferred, or equitable experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • bswift experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the benefit carriers throughout the EDI file setup process (via phone and email)
  • Communicate programming needs and progress to internal team members
  • Gather necessary information and documents for setup and programing of each EDI field
  • Prioritize each client and their carriers for the most efficient course of development
  • Use bswift Feedbuilder platform to program EDI files accordingly to carrier specifications
  • Test and troubleshoot the EDI file programming to work correctly for every scenario
  • Organize and manage active EDI files for each client
  • Work with tech support to troubleshoot secure server connections and programming issues
  • Work with the enrollment team to coordinate EDI files going into production and troubleshoot enrollment discrepancies or errors on audit reports from the carriers
  • Learn the nuances of Feedbuilder and find ways to improve the internal programming processes
  • Manage the process of EDI files during open enrollment
  • Build and manage other reports to carriers via the vendor interface
  • Stay up to date on new software releases and changed or added functionalities in Feedbuilder
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship and rapport with each client
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship and rapport with benefit enrollment system support staff, requesting enhancements to the system as needed
  • Attend regularly scheduled training and conferences when content is deemed advantageous
  • Participate and contribute to department meetings
  • Comply with agency standards, policies, and procedures
